You know your body better than anyone. You also know when your aches and pains require further attention. But did you know that through Direct Access, a physician referral is no longer necessary to visit your physical therapist?
Since 2002, when Pennsylvania followed other states in launching Direct Access, patients can simply schedule their own physical therapy appointments when and where they want. Direct Access is covered by most health insurance plans and can save a patient significant time and money while assisting in a more timely recovery.
As a Direct Access physical therapist, Dan Zelch has been certified by the American Physical Therapy Association to identify and treat conditions without requiring a prescription.
